Founder communities in Tel Aviv: 11 compared (2026)
Founder communities in Tel Aviv compared: 11 run clubs, pitch nights, CEO breakfasts, co-founder evenings, cyber forums and accelerators, with price and next event.
Key takeaways
- Several Tel Aviv founder events are free: Founders Running Club's Saturday run on the seafront, Startup Grind's Founders & Investors Circle and The Ecosystem Project's co-founder evenings (checked 28 Oct 2026).
- Small, no-pitch formats include Pollinate's founder breakfasts for CEOs and CTOs and Collective's founders-only Cyber One Table evenings.
- The Ecosystem Project runs Find a DeepTech Co-Founder evenings, with the next on 2 November 2026 at Mindspace Ahad Ha'Am.
- 8200 EISP is a non-equity accelerator in Ramat Gan for early-stage Israeli startups, not only 8200 alumni, with 2027 pre-registration open.
- Startup Nation Central reported that Israel's private tech sector raised an estimated $16.7B (currency not named) across 801 rounds in 2025.
The right founder community in Tel Aviv is the one you'll go back to: a Saturday run on the seafront, a breakfast with other CEOs, a co-founder evening or a pitch night. Below are 11 communities, each checked on its own pages, with what each costs, how to get in and when it next meets.
A note before you read on: this guide is published by Remote Builders, our own free community for founders who build companies remotely, which you can join online from Tel Aviv. It isn't in the table, because it doesn't meet in Tel Aviv. We've left out any number we couldn't find on a community's own page.

Accelerators
8200 EISP is a non-equity accelerator for early-stage Israeli startups, not only 8200 alumni, with one-on-one guidance for the CEO and CTO and access to the EISP Founders' Club. It's based in Ramat Gan, and 13 startups pitched at its Batch 16 demo day on 28 June 2026.

Notes on the table
- Upcoming events. Founders Running Club runs on 31 October, The Ecosystem Project meets on 2 November, The Founders Playbook is on 10 November, Startup for Startup's cofounder search is on 23 November, Startup Valley returns on 21 January 2027 and Grove's next session is on 2 February 2027.
- Event data from Luma and Eventbrite. Many dates in this guide, and the free and USD prices for Founders Running Club, The Ecosystem Project and Startup Valley, come from the event data in Luma's or Eventbrite's page code rather than the page text; each profile says which.
- Approval. Startup Grind's circles, The Ecosystem Project, Discount Tech's events and some Collective evenings need approval, and TechAviv is by recommendation.
Communities we checked and left out
We left out groups with no 2026 activity on their own pages, sites we couldn't read (including the municipality's, which blocked us), groups that meet outside Tel Aviv, groups limited to one university's students and alumni, groups for a whole sector or a mixed professional audience rather than founders, paid coaching, a group that funnels to a course seller, one-off events and an event that never happened. We didn't find a women founders, Arab, Haredi, new immigrant, SaaS, ecommerce, hardware or bootstrapper group in Tel Aviv that met that bar; if you run one, tell us and we'll check it.
Tel Aviv's founders in numbers
Startup Genome's Global Startup Ecosystem Report 2026 ranks Tel Aviv fourth among global startup ecosystems. Startup Nation Central reported on 23 February 2026 that Israel's private tech sector raised an estimated $16.7B (currency not named) across 801 funding rounds in 2025, and that Israel recorded 157 M&A transactions that year, its most on record.
How to get value in your first month
- Pick one weekly thing and one small format. A Saturday run, plus a breakfast or a co-founder evening.
- Go to the same one three times. By the third, people know what you're building.
- Bring one specific ask. "I need an intro to a founder who has sold to US enterprise security teams" gets you somewhere.
- Apply early. Several of these groups approve every attendee, so register as soon as a date is posted.
- Add a broader group. Our Middle East and Africa guide covers other cities, and our comparison of communities for remote founders covers the online options.
Common mistakes
- Only going to pitch nights. Most of the help comes from other founders, not investors.
- Saying yes to everything. Pick two or three and go often.
- Assuming you need an army network. 8200 EISP says it's for all early-stage Israeli startups, not only 8200 alumni.
- Waiting for the perfect group. If nothing fits your niche, start one. Our guide to starting a founder meetup covers the first three events.
