- Several founder hubs publish their prices: Barclays Innovation Hub's Club 5 in Shoreditch is from £180 plus VAT a month, Plexal's hot desk in Stratford is £240 plus VAT, and Foundervine's Launch membership in Canada Water is from £249 a month.
- Impact Hub London's Connect membership starts from £15 a month (exc VAT) for virtual community access and discounted coworking passes.

The right founder community in London is the one that fits your week: a Saturday walk, a Tuesday run, a monthly breakfast or a desk in a hub where other founders work. London has more founder groups than any one person can attend, so the trick is picking two or three and going often. Below are 22 London communities, each checked on its own pages between 25 and 28 October 2026, with what each costs, how to get in and when it next meets.
A note before you read on: this guide is published by Remote Builders, our own free community for founders who build companies remotely, which you can join online from London. It isn't in the table, because it doesn't meet in London. We've left out any number we couldn't find on a community's own page.

Communities we checked and left out
We left out proposed events that hadn't been confirmed, programmes open only to their cohorts, policy groups that don't run founder events, and sites that blocked us or returned empty pages. If you run an active founder community in London, tell us and we'll check it.
London's founders in numbers
The ONS says London had the highest business birth rate of any UK region in 2024, at 12.7%, and 3,540 high-growth businesses. KPMG reported that 85% of UK venture investment in the first quarter of 2026 centred on London. That concentration is why there's a founder group for almost every format and stage.
How to get value in your first month
- Pick one weekly thing and one monthly thing. A run or walk every week, plus a breakfast, dinner or meetup each month.
- Go to the same one three times. By the third, people know what you're building.
- Bring one specific ask. "I need an intro to a fintech founder who has got an EMI licence" gets you somewhere.
- Try a hub for a day before a month. Most offer day passes or tours.
- Add a broader group. Our Europe guide covers national associations, and our comparison of communities for remote founders covers the online options.
Common mistakes
- Saying yes to everything. London has more on than you can attend. Pick two or three and go often.
- Only going to pitch nights. Most of the help comes from other founders, not investors.
- Ignoring the stage gates. Helm and X26 have entry rules. Check before you apply.
- Waiting for the perfect group. If nothing fits your niche, start one. Our guide to starting a founder meetup covers the first three events.
