The right founder community in Dubai is the one you'll go back to: a Saturday run at Kite Beach, a coffee morning in JLT, a founder circle in Downtown or a hub where you can set up your company and sit with other founders. Many founders arrive from abroad: the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy says global companies made up 75% of the companies it supported in 2025, and some of these groups name newcomers in their audience. Below are 13 communities, each checked on its own pages on 28 October 2026, with what each costs, how to get in and when it next meets.
A note before you read on: this guide is published by Remote Builders, our own free community for founders who build companies remotely, which you can join online from Dubai. It isn't in the table, because it doesn't meet in Dubai. We've left out any number we couldn't find on a community's own page.
How to choose a founder community in Dubai
Saturday runs, coffee and founder circles
- Founders Running Club Dubai runs at Kite Beach at 7am on Saturdays, at your own pace or with a pacer, then coffee. The next run is on Saturday 31 October 2026.
- Dubai Tech Entrepreneurs Hangout is a pitch-free Saturday coffee from 10:30am at Caféine Club in Jumeirah Lake Towers. It welcomes beginners as well as established founders, and lists 234 past events.
- Dubai Founders Circle is a curated Saturday evening at Rove Downtown where each person says what they're building. It names founders relocating or expanding to Dubai in its audience, and it isn't for job seekers.
Breakfasts and meetups
AI Builders & Business Connect holds a weekly AI meetup in DIFC: everyone gets 60 seconds to introduce themselves, and it costs AED 70 in cash. The EVO Female Founders & Investors Breakfast brings female founders and funders together at Dubai Marriott Harbour for AED 50. Endeavor and Dubai Founders HQ started Founder Breakfasts on 30 June 2026, with guided discussion and open Q&A.

Startup Grind Dubai, powered by Google for Startups, runs a pitch deck workshop on 3 November 2026. Founder Connects runs a monthly paid pitch night and mixer, with tickets from AED 147.
Hubs and free zone campuses

- Dtec, Dubai Silicon Oasis: a startup coworking campus where a flexi desk with company setup starts from AED 18,000 for year 1, with up to two residency visas.
- Hub71, Abu Dhabi: a tech ecosystem at Abu Dhabi Global Market with cohort programmes, office space and subsidised housing. Applications are open for Cohort 21.
- Superteam UAE: a Solana community in Dubai with events, coworking and founder support.

Notes on the table
- Upcoming events. Founders Running Club, Dubai Tech Entrepreneurs Hangout and Dubai Founders Circle all meet on Saturday 31 October, Startup Grind's workshop is on 3 November and Startup Valley's pitch night is on 17 November.
- Approval. Dubai Founders Circle reviews profiles, the EVO breakfast needs a request on Luma, Founder Connects screens every applicant, and Hub71 runs cohort applications.
- Abu Dhabi. Hub71 is in Abu Dhabi, not Dubai; we've included it because its programmes are for tech founders building from or moving to the UAE's capital.
Communities we checked and left out
We left out sites that blocked us or need JavaScript, groups with no event dated May 2026 or later, online-only groups, general business networking, paid investor-access events, and groups too small to show regular activity. We found only one women founder group we could verify; if you run another, tell us and we'll check it.
Dubai's founders in numbers
The Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy said on 22 January 2026 that it supported the establishment and expansion of 1,690 digital startups in Dubai during 2025, and that global companies made up 75% of the companies it supported. Dubai Founders HQ was launched on 6 October 2025 under the Dubai Economic Agenda D33.
How to get value in your first month
- Start with Saturday. A morning run or coffee, then a founder circle in the evening.
- Go to the same one three times. By the third, people know what you're building.
- Bring one specific ask. "I need an intro to a founder who has set up in a free zone and opened a bank account" gets you somewhere.
- Use the hubs for setup questions. in5, Dtec and Dubai Founders HQ run workshops and talks.
- Add a broader group. Our Middle East and Africa guide covers the wider region, and our comparison of communities for remote founders covers the online options.
Common mistakes
- Saying yes to everything. There's more on than you can attend. Pick two or three and go often.
- Only going to pitch nights. Most of the help comes from other founders, not investors.
- Paying for access you don't need. Check what an event includes before you buy a ticket.
- Waiting for the perfect group. If nothing fits your niche, start one. Our guide to starting a founder meetup covers the first three events.
