Dynamite Circle alternatives: founder communities compared on price and entry rules (2026)
Dynamite Circle alternatives for remote founders: MicroConf, Founders Network, Hampton, EO, Indie Hackers and WIP compared on price and entry rules, each dated.
Key takeaways
- Dynamite Circle's standard membership is US$697 a year, and it asks for a business making at least US$100,000 a year and an accepted application from a founder, not a freelancer or employee (checked 27 Oct 2026).
- If you're below the revenue bar, the open options are Indie Hackers, free to join with a paid Plus tier at US$198 a year, and WIP at US$29 a month or US$199 a year (checked 27 Oct 2026).
- For bootstrapped SaaS, MicroConf Connect costs US$49 a month or US$499 a year once an application is accepted, and its page said applications reopen on 17 November (checked 27 Oct 2026).
- For larger businesses, Entrepreneurs' Organization asks for US$1M+ revenue and charges US$2,470 global dues plus a US$3,500 initiation fee and chapter dues, and Hampton asks for US$3M+ in revenue or funding without publishing its dues (checked 27 Oct 2026).
- Remote Builders, which publishes this guide, is free with an instant join, so treat our listing as ours rather than neutral (checked 25 Oct 2026).
Dynamite Circle is a paid network for location-independent founders with an established business. If its US$697 a year or its US$100,000 revenue bar doesn't fit, there are alternatives at every stage: open forums for founders starting out, application-only groups for bootstrapped SaaS, and chapter networks for founders running larger companies. This guide compares them on what they cost and who they let in, using each community's own pages and the date we checked them.
What the Dynamite Circle offers
Dynamite Circle runs a private online forum, virtual masterminds, chapter WhatsApp groups and in-person events such as DCBKK in Bangkok. Its requirements page set out these rules when we checked on 27 October 2026:
- Price: standard membership is US$697 for a full year, paid once.
- Revenue: your business must make at least US$100,000 a year, and founders who have sold a business may also qualify.
- Founders only: you must be a business founder, not a freelancer or employee, running location-independently or with a global mindset.
- Higher tier: its homepage lists DC BLACK as a separate tier for founders with US$1M+ annual revenue.
So the usual reasons to look elsewhere are simple: you're below US$100,000, you don't want an annual fee, or you want a room built around a particular kind of business or a particular city.

If you're below the revenue bar
Dynamite Circle's US$100,000 minimum rules out most founders in their first year or two. Three options have no revenue rule at all.
Indie Hackers
Indie Hackers is an open forum where founders of profitable businesses and side projects share progress and ask for feedback. Joining is free with a Google sign-in. The paid Plus tier is US$198 a year and adds a case studies database, weekly idea reports and posting from day one. It suits founders who want an open public room for questions and don't need vetting.
WIP
WIP is an accountability community where makers post a daily todo and build in public. It costs US$29 a month or US$199 a year, one price worldwide, with no lifetime option and credit cards as the only listed payment method. The homepage says members invite new members, but the join page went straight to account creation and checkout when we checked. It suits solo makers who ship small and often.
Remote Builders
Remote Builders is a community and podcast for founders and operators building real companies from wherever they live. It's free, joining is instant, and it runs builder dinners, city chapters and a member directory, with directory profiles and dinner seats checked by hand. Its first chapter is Bali Startup & Tech in Canggu. It's ours, so weigh that when you compare.
If you run a bootstrapped SaaS
MicroConf Connect
MicroConf Connect is written for bootstrapped and mostly bootstrapped SaaS founders at any revenue stage, plus people building towards a launch. It runs online channels, monthly webinars and a member directory. Both plans, US$49 a month or US$499 a year, include full access, and the annual plan saves US$89. You apply first, the page says applications are reviewed within 3 business days, and you pay only once accepted, with a 30-day refund. When we checked, applications were paused and the page said they reopen on 17 November, without giving the year.
MicroConf Masterminds
MicroConf Masterminds matches B2B SaaS founders into peer-led small groups. The application fee runs from US$250 to US$2,500, scaled by ARR, and you need US$500+ ARR or a previous business. Its page said matching reopens in the northern autumn of 2026.
If you run a larger company
Founders Network
Founders Network is an invite-only peer mentoring community for tech founders, with an online forum, webinars and city chapters. Plans are US$75, US$134 or US$249 a month, all billed annually, and the Lead plan is for founders with US$1M+ revenue or US$3M+ raised. Without an invite you request one, and a Membership Committee reviews complete applications each month. Its chapter list includes Bali, which is useful if you're based there.
Entrepreneurs' Organization
EO organises business owners into local chapters and small peer Forums. Global dues are US$2,470 plus a one-time US$3,500 initiation fee, prorated by the month you join, and chapter dues are extra and vary by chapter. You must own, found or hold a majority stake in a business earning at least US$1 million in its latest financial year, and your local chapter interviews you.
Hampton
Hampton is built around monthly in-person core groups with a trained facilitator, plus Slack. It asks for US$3M+ in revenue or funding raised, or a previous exit above US$10M. Its homepage lists 18 chapter cities and says chapter waitlists are open elsewhere. Dues are an annual fee with no amount published, and it offers a 45-day refund.
If you want a remote-first or nomad room
Remotely Founders is an application-only private club for founders of remote-first businesses, run as a private Slack group. It doesn't publish a price, and it says it reviews every application and is selective by design. Nomads.com, formerly Nomad List, is a paid Telegram chat with city data and member meetups, open to anyone who pays once. Its page showed $19.99 and $1 without matching them to plans when we checked, so confirm the price at checkout.
How to choose
- Start with your revenue. Below US$100,000 a year, look at Indie Hackers, WIP, MicroConf Connect or Remote Builders. Above US$1M, EO, Founders Network's Lead plan and Hampton open up.
- Decide how vetted you want the room. Open forums give you volume. Application-only groups such as Remotely Founders, MicroConf and Founders Network give you a smaller, screened peer group.
- Check where you'll be. Hampton asks members to live in a chapter city. Founders Network and EO run chapters, and Remote Builders' chapter is in Bali.
- Read the fine print on price. Hampton doesn't publish dues, EO adds chapter dues, and Founders Network bills annually.
- Try one free room first. A free forum or an in-person chapter night costs nothing and tells you what you actually want from a paid network.
