The right founder community in Berlin is the one you'll go back to: a Saturday run, a padel evening, a Friday wine night or a free coworking day with other founders. Many of Berlin's founders come from abroad, and plenty of these groups run in English. Below are 15 Berlin communities, each checked on its own pages on 28 October 2026, with what each costs, how to get in and when it next meets.
A note before you read on: this guide is published by Remote Builders, our own free community for founders who build companies remotely, which you can join online from Berlin. It isn't in the table, because it doesn't meet in Berlin. We've left out any number we couldn't find on a community's own page.

Communities we checked and left out
We left out groups whose last event was before May 2026, a Meetup group that no longer exists, sites that blocked us or need JavaScript, and networks for the wider tech scene rather than founders. We didn't find a fintech founder group or an indie hacker group in Berlin that met that bar; if you run one, tell us and we'll check it.
Berlin's founders in numbers
EY's Startup-Barometer of 22 July 2026 says Berlin startups raised almost €1.7 billion in venture capital in the first half of 2026, the most of any German state, across 95 funding rounds. Startup-Verband said on 25 March 2026 that Berlin had 16.8 new startups per 100,000 residents in 2025.
How to get value in your first month
- Pick one weekly thing and one monthly thing. A Saturday run, plus a meetup, wine night or padel evening each month.
- Go to the same one three times. By the third, people know what you're building.
- Bring one specific ask. "I need an intro to a founder who has hired their first engineer in Germany" gets you somewhere.
- Try a free coworking day. Founders Hub Berlin's days cost nothing and come with a founder lunch.
- Add a broader group. Our Europe guide covers national associations, and our comparison of communities for remote founders covers the online options.
Common mistakes
- Saying yes to everything. There's more on than you can attend. Pick two or three and go often.
- Only going to pitch nights. Most of the help comes from other founders, not investors.
- Assuming you need German. Many of these groups run in English, so check each listing.
- Waiting for the perfect group. If nothing fits your niche, start one. Our guide to starting a founder meetup covers the first three events.
