- Several groups are for solo founders: Solo Founders Singapore runs small exchange sessions, and the Solo Founders & E-Com Circle holds dinners for solo ecommerce sellers.
- Published prices include S$15 for a SameKind dinner for non-members and a $20 venue day rate at Hackapura (currency not named); the Nomad Startup Founder Meetup is listed as free.
- ACE.SG manages Stage One at LaunchPad @ one-north and supports foreign founders landing in Southeast Asia, and B71 Singapore's accelerators are free and take no equity.
- Enterprise Singapore said in May 2025 that Singapore rose to fourth in StartupBlink's 2025 Global Startup Ecosystem Index.
The right founder community in Singapore is the one you'll go back to: a Saturday run, a Thursday co-working day, a small founder dinner or a hub at one-north. Below are 13 communities, each checked on its own pages on 28 October 2026, with what each costs, how to get in and when it next meets.
A note before you read on: this guide is published by Remote Builders, our own free community for founders who build companies remotely, which you can join online from Singapore. It isn't in the table, because it doesn't meet in Singapore. We've left out any number we couldn't find on a community's own page, and where a page shows a price without naming the currency, we say so.

- Approval. SameKind hand-picks founders by stage, Superteam's lunch is invite only, B71's mixers need approval, and SQ Collective's Founders' Mondays need host approval.

Communities we checked and left out
We left out groups with no Singapore event dated May 2026 or later, groups that meet only online, sites that blocked us, paid event businesses, communities run to sell courses or services, and a group with only one event so far. We didn't find a standalone women founders group with a dated 2026 Singapore event; if you run one, tell us and we'll check it.
Singapore's founders in numbers
Enterprise Singapore said in May 2025 that Singapore rose to fourth place in StartupBlink's 2025 Global Startup Ecosystem Index, up from fifth in 2024, and cited a 2024 venture deal value of US$4.8 billion. On 28 May 2026, Minister of State Alvin Tan said Singapore stayed fourth in the 2026 index.
How to get value in your first month
- Pick one weekly thing and one fortnightly thing. A Saturday run or Thursday meetup, plus a small dinner.
- Go to the same one three times. By the third, people know what you're building.
- Bring one specific ask. "I need an intro to a founder who has expanded from Singapore into Indonesia" gets you somewhere.
- Use a co-working day. Hackapura and SQ Collective let you work beside other founders without a desk contract.
- Add a broader group. Our Southeast Asia guide covers the region, and our comparison of communities for remote founders covers the online options.
Common mistakes
- Saying yes to everything. There's more on than you can attend. Pick two or three and go often.
- Only going to pitch nights. Most of the help comes from other founders, not investors.
- Missing the entry rules. B71's incubation needs an NUS-affiliated founder, and some dinners hand-pick guests. Check before you apply.
- Waiting for the perfect group. If nothing fits your niche, start one. Our guide to starting a founder meetup covers the first three events.
